ŒUVRE PERMANENTE

Selected works from the FRAC Lorraine permanent collections

Paradox is an instrument of clarity. In order to emerge, it only needs a bit of space beside (para) knowledge (doxa). That is at least what its etymology reveals and that is what motivates FRAC Lorraine’s acquisitions. To invent inverse points of view, to celebrate invisibility and sensoriality, to affirm disappearance——these are the precepts of some of the works “present” in the permanent collections of our august premises.
