A political portrait of Black women in Francophone Europe, this film reveals the complexity and the multiplicity of their ways of life and identities. Going beyond personal anecdote, the film addresses the political issues connected with their condition as a double minority: women and Black. Using intertwining stories, it explores the intersections between discrimination, art, and the need to reclaim the narrative. This is a brilliant and graphic Afro-feminist documentary depicting the resistance of Black women who refuse to be silenced.
