[Calenture: A disease incident to sailors within the tropics, characterized by delirium in which the patient, it is said, fancies the sea to be green fields, and desires to leap into it. – Oxford English Dictionary]
Settled at the bottom of a swimming pool, wearing striped pajamas and equipped with scuba diving gear, Jean Lambert-wild breathes life and sound into the meanders of a dream. Mixing the narrative of his own sensations and emotions with passages from Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, which he knows by heart, the actor reveals poetic mysteries that pass through his body.
If they like, the viewers may leave the edge of the pool and “slip into the water and be carried away…”.
