Talk with Fujiko Nakaya
For Le Vent des Forêts, she has traced, along the Aire River, a fog sculpture that is in a state of constant motion and transformation.

Fujiko Nakaya pioneered video art in Japan and was the first to explore new technologies in landscape art. Since the 1970s, she has been creating “Fog Sculptures,” or misty environments offering visitors a surprising visual, bodily, and mental experience.
“I am a fog sculptor, but I do not try to shape it. The atmosphere is the mold and the wind is the chisel.”
