The forest invisible for the trees

What is a forest? The answers are ambiguous. Some say: “the cradle of humanity,” “a paradise lost,” “the realm of spirits”… Others, on the contrary: “a hostile environment,” “a place of perdition”… So what is a tree? Certainly a plant, but unlike any other… Its leaves, its colors, its trunk symbolize the earthly time before mankind as well as indicate the present moment. While in the eyes of the artists, trees become a geography of signs to be deciphered, the forest appears as a rite of passage, a place where one gets lost in order to find oneself better
