Inventive, responsible, undisciplined … these words can be used to describe feminist science-fiction as it confronts ecological and nuclear threat. Inspired by, and inspiring, the ecofeminist movement, “speculative fiction” has abandoned the predominant images in order to reconnect with our experiences, our desires, our abilities, and attempt to invent other possible futures.
