Fragile balance made of exact data, ideological vision, and of the will to control spaces, the drawing of the contours of the world and national borders has always represented a major strategic issue and a means to exercise power… even the power of naming the territories.
In a world redrawn by the artists from seascapes to distant constellations, imaginary or real islands shaped as ethereal clouds and starry skies the horizon blurs into an expanse of confusion. Certitudes vanish to be replaced by new universes that challenge our understanding and our senses.
